I hear it all the time! "Planning this big wedding is just stressing us out and we want to do something small"
I also hear "we've always wanted to elope, it's so us!"
Whatever your reason for eloping is, i'm here for it and can't wait to hear the details...I'll even help you plan!
Intimate weddings are smaller weddings with your closest friends and family. Many couples opt to still book a venue or somewhere pretty to have a reception/ceremony and will oftentimes still go all out with the flowers/details but on a smaller more intimate scale. There are so many intimate San Diego wedding venues too!
You can still follow typical wedding traditions or change it up and make your own! I think small weddings are great because you still get that close family/friend time without being bombarded with tons of guests! Let's be Pinterest friends so I can see all of your wedding boards!
I feel like people used to define an elopement as couples who run away to get married without telling anyone! This is DEFINITELY something you can do (I'm so down to capture the most intimate elopement) but you can also have those traditional wedding elements and/ or add your own special traditions to your day!
To say an elopement has no planning or less planning compared to a traditional wedding wouldn't be true. But there are SO may options for eloping which makes the process so different and exciting due to being able to be a little more creative with how you want your day to go vs. planning a traditional wedding.
